You knew my heart had wings

but no feet to step on the rock in your heart.

Thirsty for you, I flew to the river.

I couldn’t land but tripped on a pebble I swallowed

and now the egg of our love I contain.

    As for this take on the prompt….truly lovely to read. I only hope his heart is not of rock, now that she carries the egg of their love 🙂 Well done!
