As I was saying in my previous post, today we celebrate the people named after archangels Michael and Gabriel. So, Gabriela M, I wish you a happy name-day! 🙂 Either you celebrate it or not. :)))
My little gift for you on this occasion is this translation of your poem the breath of life and death – a poem published by Spillwords.
Even if the Romanian language might have required more adaptation, I tried my best to refrain knowing that before any adaptation, a deep understanding of the poet’s message should prevail. With no punctuation, I had to be cautious in assuming meanings. I don’t know if this little present would mean anything to you, but I simply felt offering it. 🙂 Have a beautiful day! ❤
respiraţia vieţii şi a morţii
emoţiile părăsesc pântecele sufletelor
îmbătare
goliciunea perlelor uitate pe ţărm
înăuntrul căldurii necunoscutului
închis stă misterul ce eşti
cineva poartă galben, semn al morţii
uşile închid camera mortuară a oceanului
mâinile tale întind valurile toate către Nord
gleznele mele stau prinse în nisip
în pat înfloresc măceşe
iluzie
o pisică aleargă pe-afară
peste lume
respiraţia iubirii şi a morţii
un vers din tine
şi-apoi
roşul Pompeiului
