You knew my heart had wings but no feet to step on the rock in your heart. Thirsty for you, I flew to the river. I couldn’t land but tripped on a pebble I swallowed and now the egg of our love I contain. ©Daniela Marin, 2018 My poem for the dVerse Poets Pub Quadrille –

No matter wars or winter’s tail, no matter soil, a sandy trail, an echo of the ancient sea, while dreaming of the tree of life I see you here now. You stand no matter if I strive to rise. I bow to you and smile! :)
I cannot find a poetry of words to paint this spring’s today. I leave this to a better day or night of stars or waves of light, I leave it in my inner sight. I only wonder if today you have been visiting the skies, the trees, the lake, the breeze, in your untouchable disguise.
still light inside the foggy times still there and here still now and then still is the eye which sees your unsettling thirst for the sun
Clear sky smiling in the light… sun calling out the spring… the whiteness of the snow unveils… the shadows of your tree.
